I did not knew this tool.
the install.php had downloaded a modx.zip files then nothing happens anymore (blank page no setup routine).
I've cleaned the cache manually.
Well it's no so bad ..I'll try to use it through ssh soon.

Well, it doesn't always work, and doesn't have very good error handling. It works on most servers, but it depends on the server configuration, permissions, and what-have-you.
