Hi
I have a site using ckeditor (i didn't install this), i have just upgraded to 1.0.14 and changed the editor to use Tinymce and now i get an error and can no longer select another editor...the dropdown just isn't working.
Any ideas what this is and how i might fix it?

It looks like your TinyMCE install is incomplete or possibly corrupt. You might try uploading the TinyMCE folder again to see if that resolves the problem.
You could also upload the manager folder again (don't overwrite includes/config.inc.php file!).
This may be totally unrelated but when I upgraded to 1.0.14 TinyMCE also didn't work properly. I was able to fix it by going to Tools>Configuration>Interface & Features and scrolling down to the TinyMCE settings and selecting "MODX Style" for the TinyMCE "Theme". This simple change induced TinyMCE to properly display all the tool icons in the edit window. Seems fine now. Perhaps worth a try?

@sitecoder - I can't actually select from that dropdown so it's probably as @AMDbuilder suggests, a corrupt install. I'll retry an install and see if that fixes it.

Well i've installed this after disabling previously installed versions :

or should i upload the tinymce folder from the evo1.0.14 directory?)
With the install of tinymce_3241 I still cannot select anything from the dropdown and get the same error.

You should upload a copy from the 1.0.14 installer, as it's more recent than the extra in question if memory serves me correctly.
Found the problem. it was actually a missing forward slash in the Plugin tinymce4 - tinymce 4 PHP code. This was in the Uncategorised section of the Plugins so I didn't see it immediately.
