Following my first upgrade from 2.10 to 2.14 just wanted to say that MODX continues to impress me....
Had a problem with duplicate resource not duplicating children, so before fiddling with things too much decided it was time to upgrade to latest release just in case the problem had already been fixed. I did copy all my files and the database just in case of course first.
The upgrade process was very quick, extremely simple to do and took probably about 20 mins in total (most of that time downloading or uploading files).
What is more, everything still works, the site is still as it was and the problem of duplicating children has now gone.
So I just wanted to say thank you. Upgrading things in the past has always been an issue or caused problems and I never looked forward to it with other packages that shall remain unamed. However in the future I will keep my MODX install completely up to date as it all went so smoothly this time.
Thank you again,
Paul.
:-)
