    Hello All,

    I have developed a website using MODx that utilizes front-end member access via the "Login" extra. The users that have access to edit on the front-end also have limited access to manager in most cases.

    Currently, I am using the "NewsPublisher" extra to allow these users the ability to publish content including uploading files from the front-end site. When adding resources, these users are required to log in a second time to authenticate via manager before the NewsPublisher file browser is displayed. I have also noticed that if I login to Manager and then hit the front-end site, I am presented with the front-end site's login page meaning that it is not showing as authenticated in the "Login" extra.

    I'd like to configure the site so that only one login is required. Can someone please point me in the right direction for doing that?

    Thanks in advance!

    Mike

      I'm guessing here, but I think one of the following options in a plugin attached to OnManagerLogin would do it:

      Try this first:

      $user->addSessionContext('web');

      If that doesn't work, try this:

      $user =& $postLoginAttributes['user']
      $user->addSessionContext('web');
