Hi. i’m new at ModX and i like it very much and i’m using it in a project.
i use blog like a news section in my site.
i want to make IntroText to be HTMLArea (use TinyMCE to edit it) instead of a TextArea (plain text)
how can i do it? is it possible?

Modifying the IntroText field would require hacking the core code, which is something I don’t recommend. A much easier way would be to simply create a template variable that is set as an HTMLArea. Since all of the default fields are static and unchanging, this is one of the main reason template variables exist. I highly recommend doing that over trying to change the behavior of the IntroText field.
