Call a TV inside a Chunk

I'm using a template with a footer chunk on the bottom called [[$footer]].

This footer chunk contains a Call To Action which is different on every page. The user should be able to fill this in himself for every page. I have made a TV called 'footerCta' and connected it to all the templates i want i to be on. Inside the chunk 'footer' i placed the following code:



Which i would have hoped showed the content the user fills in the TV 'footerCta'. Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong here?

Use the regular resource value tags. [[*footerCta]]

The placeholder syntax you used is only for a tpl used with a listing snippet like getResources or Wayfinder. These snippets create the placeholder for each resource they are listing in turn, applying it to its tpl.

This worked for me. It was probably a dumb question. Did help me a lot though.
