    Hi

I have tried using this snippet
    [[MenuSnippet?id=`0`&activelink=`active`]]
    from this page of documentattion
    http://modxcms.com/adding-snippets.html
    but nothing happens.

I then followed the documentation for eform
assets/snippets/eform/docs/eform_examples.htm which came installed with mod ex but that also didnt work
When I try add this code

    [!eForm? &formid=`feedbackForm` &to=`[email protected],[email protected],[email protected]` &tpl=`eFeedBackForm` &report=`eFeedbackReport` &thankyou=`eFeedbackThanks` &mailselector=`department` &vericode=`1` &subject=`Web site feedback`!]
I have left defaults in here.

to the page it displays onto the screen. Please see attached screenshot. The eForm extension came buddle with my copy of modx so I am very confused.
Am I missing a configuration option somewhere.
I have tried for about 4 hours now and can’t get it to work.
Any help or more documentation will be greatly appreciated.

It seems like the snippet is not being parsed.

    Thanks

The menu snippet in the example is just a generic example. There really isn’t any snippet named MenuSnippet. There are several possible snippets to use to generate menus, the one most commonly used is Wayfinder.

Okay that makes sense about the menu snippet but I still find it wierd that the form snippet does not parse...
If you look at the screen shot the snippet is displayed on the screen

Are you sure that the eForm snippet is installed? Do you see it when you do to Resources | Manage Resources | snippets? Is it spelled the same way as in your snippet call?

Another possibility is that you pasted the snippet call from a tutorial and it has a comment in it for display purposes. In that case if you look at your source code, you’ll see the beginning of the snippet call as
          [<!-- -->[
There may be a comment at the end as well. If so, you’ll need to remove those for the snippet call to be recognized by MODx.
