    1.)
Is it possible to do multiple installations of MODx on various servers and ’bridge’ these together so there is one ’master list’ of all users for login, and so that select, designated users will be allowed various priviledge levels throughout these select, designated installations huh

    2.)
Is it possible to create ’Editions’ within a single installation of MODx. eg. One for a geographical region, and multiple sub-regions within huh To clarify: This is for two functional reasons: a.) to allow the user to choose their geographical area and have content auto-filtered by that region - and b.) to allow various entries into MODx [articles, blogs, photos, etc] be designated by various flags [region, subject/topic, type of content/language ag. kid stuff, easy reading, average reading, and advanced huh

Honestly, I am not personally able to do the backend work for this, unless it is blazingly simple and would be looking for help somehow,... but it would be nice to know if folks feel these goals are at least theoretically possible.

    thanks

several servers for : security, control, redundancy, mirroring, and separation. i’m thinking about an insane number of installations across various locations and various specific groups. imagining that some groups should be in at least partial control of their particular installation, content, users, etc - but want all users to be able to access the main group.
eg. put ’primary modx’ and ’secondary modx’ and let the ’secondary modx’s’ customize their own installation [kind of a watered down localization] and yet maintain priviledges and abilities within the ’primary modx’.
another thought was that a secondary modx group’ may be disabled, yet the content could be archived.

i guess if i could fill you in on the ’big picture’ you would understand much better - but it’s s’pozed to remain proprietary knowledge, etc, etc,...

thanks for sharing your expertise and opinions.
      :)
