one of my installations seems to be screwed up due to caching (manager/cache.manifest.php).
This issue shows up only (!) in Chrome on Linux, from what I have tested. I removed all the cookies and the application cache, after that it worked again. But here's the deal:
- Manager shows deprecated data.
- Manager shows deprecated form customizations
- Manager sends deprecated data on save resource/template/whatever
This is _really_ annoying if you just (!) fixed some complex getResources call and its underlying structure. Here's what happened/happens:
1. I edit a template, work on it for an hour or so.
2. Check out the according page -> finally, it works, almost.
3. I add a small fix, because I forgot about a sidebar or something
4. Result: The manager overwrote my entire work of the past hour, because it saved a template that was way older, just adding my slight sidebar change.
What I do now, is delete the application cache after every form customization.
My process is as follows: I work on form customizations in an FF window and double check them with a logged in user in chrome. Before that, I switched back and forth between sudo user and customer user, so there should be multiple cookies there, which I deleted.
Sometimes, manager styles don't even show up, all the js is not loaded, etc. - It would be perfect if I could just disable the manager cache for chrome, or for that matter, in general. I can't really put a finger on how this happened, but this happens only in chrome.
Running MODX Revo 2.2.14 on Debian and Chrome Version 35.0.1916.114 on Debian Linux.
Permissions on the filesystem are all correct, I am really running out of ideas here.
Anybody experiencing something similar?

Are you running CacheMaster or using a custom cache system? I have not experienced this with Chrome, though Chrome is often cranky about clearing its own cache.
Mmh, also smells to me like some plugin thing or so, possible to make a screenshot of your plugin elements?
Do you have the compress_js and compress_css System Settings off? (Sorry if you've already mentioned that -- I didn't see it in your post.) If not, try that.
