VersionX with snippets

    Hello,

    I'm not sure where to ask this question, it looks like VersionX Add-on is not being updated for a while and i couldn't locate this issue on git hub, so may be it happens only to me or i am missing something.

    issue: There is not VersionX tab in Snippets. This Occurs on every installation I perform.

    From Components -> VersionX , Snippets tab looks OK.

      Hello,

      I can confirm your issue, however getting that fixed is likely a task for Mark. You might want to post it on GitHub so it can be addressed when he has a moment.

        Hmm interesting. Created an issue for it: https://github.com/Mark-H/VersionX2/issues/65

        From what I can tell, it is properly loading VersionX on the edit snippet page, but for some reason MODX isn't triggering "ready" there; which is what VersionX hooks into for initialising the tab.

          Hi Mark,

          What Version of Modx you are using as per your statment the issue is not reproducible at your end? I've seen this issue even on much earlier version till the latest 2.2.14.

          Thank you for your help, this is what I needed to know to fix it smiley

          I edited "core/components/versionx/templates/mgr/tabs/snippets.tpl", changed 
          MODx.on("ready",function() {
          to 
          Ext.onReady(function() {

          And now the tab loads. Sounds like a modx defect, Mark would you go from there to report Modx issue?

            I could reproduce it, it just didn't make sense tongue Might need to switch it to Ext.onReady then.
