Community T-shirt Crowdfunding Campaign

For many years I have seen the community ask repeatedly for T-shirts or other such MODx community-oriented products. I just posted a Teespring campaign called "got modx?" based off of the highly recognized "got milk" advertisements. I realize it's very derivative and basic, but it is a jump off point for other such products to help give our community some bling. This will give me an idea of how much real community desire there is for T-shirts, cell phone and iPad cases, and more, for the future.

Great idea. Just ordered one! I also bought MODX: The Official Guide, digital edition by @BoRray the other day and a license (more to come) of Redactor by modmore. I'll support those who support MODX.

Just as the ideology of this framework implies, "it is what you want it to be", how you write the word "modx" is every bit up to you. I personally like "MODx", as for the shirt, it definitely is more artistic.

I didn't start with a design that incorporated the logo because I didn't want to deal with the trademark stuff quite yet, I just wanted to get something out there. My plan is to start releasing new designs through Teespring first, so that people can take advantage of bulk printing discounts. That's why the shirt is only $10. Then I'll put those designs on a print on demand like Redpubble, that also print on posters, cell phone and tablet cases, and a variety of apparel. Would be a great place to find something for everyone all things MODx.

Keep up the great support! Keep posting ideas of designs you would like to see, I'll be sure to try and create something for you. Maybe you might see it on the next round of T-shirts!

I don't want to be the one who puts a damper on this (I think it's a cool idea) but I think you should take this to heart:

Trademark Usage

retain the proper capitalization, and retain the ® symbol or ™ symbol as follows:
