Today when I entered one of the sites I created with MODx system found that nothing I can not do it. I checked other sites with this system - the result is the same. Within the system, nothing is active - I did upgrade but no result.
Try deleting all files in the core/cache directory and clearing your browser cache and cookies.

Check if you have compress_css/compress_js enabled, and if so try disabling them. Manually delete the cache folder once again.

Go into your database and in the modx_system_settings table find these settings, and change their setting from 1 to 0.

Open the modx_system_settings table. Edit the rows for "compress_css" and "compress_js" to set their value from 1 to 0.

No, you can set these from the System Settings menu in the Manager. But if you can't get the Manager open, then you have to go into the database to change the settings.
System -> System Settings, then use the search field with "compress" to get the settings.
I experienced this in Firefox recently, in Chrome it worked...
