Is there a way to reset the document numbers?

For example, if I have docs 1 to 20, if I delete 10 the next new document will be doc 21.
Any way to make it be doc 11?
I checked in the database tables and I could not find where the next doc number is stored! ??

Also, if I change the number of the doc in the database (before assigning templates and TVs, chunks, etc),
    would this affect MODx?

    Thanks,

Charliez, The document numbers are never seen except by managers so it really doesn’t matter what they are. Most of us just get used to them being out of sequence. It is possible to re-order them, but there’s really no reason to do it and it can break links unless you do it properly.

BTW, it is possible to re-use the numbers if, rather than deleting a document, you just overwrite it with your new content.
