Gallery extra : howto get image order ?

I'm searching a way to get sorting order number in a template.
For exemple
Image "name 1" -> first image -> position 1 in the album
Image "name 4" -> second image -> 2
Image "name 2" -> second image -> 3
etc.

As Gallery allow drag & drop sorting, I guess the is a way to output data concerning image order.
