I use a rich text tv on the articles container. The problem is that TinyMce is not loaded but a simplistic default rich text editor. See screenshot.
I checked that the rich text setting for the container is set to 'yes'. This makes no difference.
Is there a way I can manually load TinyMce for the articles container? (a plugin or something?) Thanks for any help!

There is a which_editor System Setting that you can set to TinyMCE. I'm not positive that it will affect articles, but it's worth a try.
There may also be an rte selection option in the Articles management section somewhere.

Thanks BobRay, unfortunately that setting was already set to TinyMCE...
In the Articles management section (the advanced settings) there is only a setting for 'Rich text' and this is set to yes.

I suspect that the RTE you're seeing *is* TinyMCE, but with stripped-down options.

Oh, you could be right... That would mean TinyMCE is loaded but not with the right options / stylesheet etc. How could this happen?

I think Articles may modify the TinyMCE options. I'm not sure if there's a way for you to control the process but there might be.

Hmm, that could be it. I've looked through all the Articles files and settings but unfortunately I can't find anything that could fix this. But I don't really know what to look for exactly... Hope someone finds a fix for this! For now, my client will have to do with the stripped-down version.

I took a look, but I couldn't find anything either. In fact I couldn't find any references to TinyMCE anywhere in the Articles code, though that doesn't mean it isn't there somewhere.
