MxCalender won't sort by ASC/DESC

    I have a calendar that shows past events. Here is the call:
    [[!mxcalendar?
    &elEndDate=`+52 week`
    &elStartDate=`-52 week`
    &eventListlimit=`999`
    &displayType=`list`
    &tplListItem=`tpl-calendar_list_item`
    &tplListWrap=`tpl-calendar_list_wrap`
    &tplListHeading=``
    ]]

    It shows oldest events first and most recent events last. I need the opposite to happen, but &dir=`DESC` and &dir=`ASC` change nothing. What am i doing wrong?
