When I save a resource in the mangager, it saves but when I reload the resource its back to the original way. But if i goto the website the resource has changed. If i clear my cache and log into modx the resource has changed.
Is it a permission issue on cache? is it a database issue? no logs are being generated in the modx manager. Any advice or help? happening for client as well.
still having finicky issues. If i goto form customization and turn off my rules, reload and the rules are on. If i goto a page and change it. reload, its the old page. but if i flush all permissions, clear cache, logout, clear my browser cache, login, its all changed to the new stuff. Any ideas?
1 week later - bump for justice.
I did a NEW fresh install of modx (latest) and ran the manager, went in, updated a resource, saved, refreshed, works fine.
So i checked permissions, owner, folder etc. everything is perfect. same users 755 644 chown etc.. everything is good.
what is the solution? am I screwed? is the solution to just never let it break and then were good but once something is out of whack, then what?
Is it an addon? is it VersionX? is it something? I literally can go into a resource, type something, hit save, and then refresh my browser and the changes are gone... but if i logout and clear my browser cache and log back in, the changes went through.
help me obi wan kenobi, you are my only hope.
Did a complete database dump, to the new site, moved all the files over, same problem exists. something in the database or installed components or modifications made to the site.
any ideas?
