    Hi,

I need a lot of variables that might be updated once and a while used almost anywhere on the site. Simple text strings even though most are numbers. Stuff like "$10", "3.00%", "12/05/2014". I want to be able to use the info anywhere on the site and allow editors an easy way to maintain and insert them. Can't use a TV, too many and would have to add to every template. Seems like a lot of chunks or settings, but it would be simple. A snippet would work ( [[getVariable? &name=`lastUpdate`]], but is it worth it? Which is faster?

Which version of MODX are you using? If Revo, then ClientConfig is exactly what you're looking for.

Thanks, that looks like that will do the trick.
