My site has pages that are limited to authenticated users. On one of these pages I need a link to a PDF file that they can download.
However, I do not want to expose a way for non-users [anonymous] to be able to directly access the PDF, it must be accessible only from the one specific page.
Ideas?
Would that work if the file name and path was known/guessed by public?

I have looked at that package...It seems much more than a simple single file via a link. It also appears that the file itself must be exposed (in response to eladnova's comment).

Yes, FileDownload has a lot more options than you need.
But you could provide a single file link together with the getFile parameter. And if you use the plugin part, you could change the file path (even out of the webroot) by a TV called FileDownloadFolder.
It has also the possibility to use webuser based folders to make the download impossible for not logged users. This part could be modified to webgroup based folders by some code changes as far as I know.
