Answered Issue with Articles posting to Twitter automatically

Hi There,
I'm using Articles (1.7.6) with Revolution (2.2.11pl) and having issues with Articles and Twitter.

Trying to use the feature to post my articles directly to Twitter for a client. However when I click to authenticate the page it's me to an error. See below.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class OAuthException in /home/supaheat/246238CY/htdocs/core/components/articles/model/articles/notification/lib.oauth.php on line 8

I've picked up from one or two other posts that it's something to do with Twitter update, but can't find any workaround or fixes.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please?

Thanks
Jordan

You might check the code of the Notify package. It's updated for the latest changes in the Twitter API.

As a last resort, you could use Notify to send out the notifications, which will be manual rather than automatic.

I'd second twitterfeed.com

Simple and painless

Thanks guys - Just setup TwitterFeed now and worked perfectly.

Much appreciated.
