Thanks for mentioning modmore
There's also
SimpleDream (primarily Russian) and
SimpleCart which uses a custom provider and I have seen some other provider code floating around the forums, though those were primarily for private/in-house use. I think there's actually an Extra available from the modx.com provider which helps you set up a real basic provider based on resources but I haven't really checked that out myself.
Oh, and there are actually 8 addons being distributed from the modmore.com provider currently, not 3

The 4th Premium one is going live real soon (
ContentBlocks), the remaining packages are open source ones that don't need to be purchased. There'll be more in the future but I'm more concerned about quality than quantity at this point.
There's also supposed to be a MODX Cloud Marketplace for Cloud users, and ThemeForest recently started selling MODX themes too themeforest.net/category/cms-themes/modx-themes. There's definitely a lot more professional addons coming.
There's also a single commercial extra here:

This is probably the best buy anyone can make right now as far as commercial extras. A SiteCheck License is for one person, but unlimited sites. It can help diagnose a lot of issues not otherwise apparent. This one should be in every MODX developer's toolbox.
Thanks for the tipp, just bought =), had a few bugs though (mostly due to my advanced installs)...sent a PM to bob with possible fixes.

Hi Venty13,
We're currently investigating whether we should offer a service (more details to be announced in the next couple of weeks) where developers can add/update packages for their own [private] providers, hosted by us (Adido). Ideal for agencies or freelances who often reuse the same custom packages with each project.
The service would allow you to sign up, add packages to your provider, specify the sites/projects it should be available to (if locked down at all) and there you go, done. All URLs and API Keys provided to you, ready for use.
This would save you any time having to set up your own provider, file management, and all other concerns. Just click, upload, and go.
Does this sound like something of interest? Would you use that over hosting a package provider yourself, if it was easy and convenient?
