I am trying to link from a document to a pdf file. If I access the resource browser from the TinyMCE edit window, I see no files at all in the "files" folder. If I try to upload a pdf file, I get the "Disallowed File Type" error message.

I have added pdf to the allowed file types for both images and media, but where is the allowable setting for docs and files?

And if I just go ahead and upload the files I need via ftp, they don’t then appear in the resource browser, even though they’re there.

Are you sure that yo have the right resource path set in the site configurations? This can also be set for manager users individualy as well so you need to check both places.

        Thanks, dev cw,

You were right. I have to say that I think it’s ineffective to have these settings in both places. If they stay in these two places, they should automatically be set to the default in the Manager Users accounts.
