I made a simple gallery with ditto and manual uploading / creation of images and thumbs. Works well for small scale stuff and no user upload / options. But I ran into a little problem. Pictures are displayed in the order added, not a problem either, it is ditto, we can sort it. Here is where the trouble begins, the pictures were added by the order I had them in - sorted by date in windows. Sorting by name will render almost the same results. Randomizing would be a bit chaotic, as the pics will be in a different order every time someone looks at them.
I was thinking of using a weighted listing, but that can be a bit of work. Is there a plugin to randomize children? That would be cool... anyone have any ideas? The problem really comes down to having a few different pictures of the same thing clustered together.
