I have been looking at solving this this issue much long than I should have. I host several small simple websites for clients on EZPZ Hosting.
The problem occurs on all sites. but before publishing these sites the issue was not present and the test was done on our developement server in-house.
The issue I have is that the simple contact form on these sites doesn't send the the FormItAutoResponder email out. We get the email and the redirect works. and I know the FormItAutoResponder snippet is executed but we get no emails. The form redirects to a Thank you page which returns all the form fields correctly.
Any help would be appreciated.

The only clues I have and now do suspect it is the basic mail setup is that a standard php mail() function script fails to send email too.
I also had errors being generated by the form. but have edited the fomitIsSelected and fomItIsChecked snippets to resolve these. I foolishly thought they might be causing the issue. It would be nice if the maintainer actually made these simple changes it must bite a lot of new comers and old timers alike.
I am new to Modx but do like this project a lot. Thanks for the great CMS system.
My Modx system is the latest version 2.2.14 and was installed via the softaculous script at the hosting company. The domain DNS is not controlled by this host but the email system is tested and does receive emails.
