how to call a php include from an http address

Have read http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,4777.0.html, however, what’s the solution for using an external http address for the included file instead of local file?

eg. http://dev.xxxxxxxx.com.au:7777/ws/rc_product_tables.php?product=mt&table=0001ew

Depending on your php configuration it will not allow including files with a url, it needs to be a server path.
