    Sorry if this has been discussed before but I could not find an anwser. When i have child pages in a menu and full alias path turned "on" (subs from subs) the quick edit toolbar does not functiuon anymore and becomes only a bulleted list. This happens because of a javascript error and absolute urls.

    <!-- Start QuickEdit headers -->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="manager/media/script/mootools/mootools.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="assets/modules/quick_edit/javascript/QuickEdit.js"></script>
    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="assets/modules/quick_edit/styles/toolbar.css" />

    I changed the file output.class.inc.php from:

    <!-- Start QuickEdit headers -->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="manager/media/script/mootools/mootools.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="{$qe_path}/javascript/QuickEdit.js"></script>
    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="{$qe_path}/styles/toolbar.css" />
    <script type="text/javascript">
    Window.addEvent(’load’,function() {
    qe = new QuickEdit({$module_id},{$doc_id},’{$manager_path}’,’{$qe_path}’,$(’QE_Toolbar’));
    });
    </script>

    to (notice the forward slash)

    <!-- Start QuickEdit headers -->
    <script type="text/javascript" src="/manager/media/script/mootools/mootools.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="/{$qe_path}/javascript/QuickEdit.js"></script>
    <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="/{$qe_path}/styles/toolbar.css" />
    <script type="text/javascript">
    Window.addEvent(’load’,function() {
    qe = new QuickEdit({$module_id},{$doc_id},’{$manager_path}’,’{$qe_path}’,$(’QE_Toolbar’));
    });
    </script>

    This solves the problem but I do not know whether this will cause onother error somewhere else. Anyone an Idea?

    Greetings and thanks
