Ive just installed Evo 1.0.13 and am trying to get wayfinder working.

I have copied the contents of wayfinder.inc.php in the snippets/wayfinder folder to a new snippet as the instructions dictate and have added:

    [[Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &level=`2`]]

    but nothing appears.

    Can anyone help me out?
    • Do you need to create the wayfinder snippet? It doesn't come with one already installed?

There are Wayfinder files in the snippets directory but there was not a wayfinder snippet present in the manager. I followed the instructions on the Wayfinder download page and copied the code from wayfinder.inc.php file into a snippet but that made no difference.

Ugh! I'm an idiot. I was copying the contents of wayfinder.inc.php into the manager snippet when I should have been copy the contents of snippet.wayfinder.php
          • Ah, well. It's been a while since I used Evo, I guess it's changed then. It used to be that Wayfinder was installed automatically, unless, of course, you chose to not install it on the installation options page. The files would still be there in assets/snippets/wayfinder, but it wouldn't install the snippet in the database.
