    undecided

    I have been trying to work with the nifty rounded corners coding. I followed the instructions and created three pages and CV the appropriate codes: niftycorners.css, niftyprint.css and nifty.js then I placed the following codes on my html
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheets/niftycorners.css">
    <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheets/niftyPrint.css">
    <script type="text/javascript" src="nifty.js"></script> All before the header.

    Problem is the everything is testing correctly but the corners are not rounding and yes, I did include <script type="text/javascript">
    window.onload=function(){
    if(!NiftyCheck())
    return;
    Rounded("div#nifty","#377CB1","#9BD1FA");
    } .

    Question: I haven’t uploaded these files to the server yet, I wouldn’t think that mattered.

    I really would like to solve this I have rechecked all the coding, the paths, I just don’t know what else to do.

    For what it is worth, I am using Dreamweaver for HTML editing. I have had other .js files work fine.

    Thanks for anyones help.
      In case I forgot to mention it, thanks so much.

      Well, I don’t know. but while I was doing the dishes, I was thinking I should. But I didn’t do it for other scripts, so, I didn’t. WOW that sure didn’t make sense. I am going to upload and if it works, I will gladly eat crow.
        In case I forgot to mention it, thanks so much.

          Where is the source code you get to use it from?
          If it is the one that Ryan has published some days back, make sure you call the appropriate division style within a page.
          i.e:
          div.nifty (or whatever you called) {
          some css definition }

          <div style="nifty">
          your desired content...

            Remove this from your head section or at least put it before the other stylesheet call...
            <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="stylesheets/niftyPrint.css">

            then it will work.
            It’s telling it not to display the corners!

              I looked to the page source you gave a link to and find out that you have called the script source within a HEAD section of the page! instead should be in BODY continent.
              <body>
              <script type="text/javascript" src="nifty.js"></script>

              <script type="text/javascript">
              window.onload=function(){
              if(!NiftyCheck())
                  return;
              Rounded("div#nifty","#377CB1","#9BD1FA");
              }
              </script>

              <div id="nifty">
              <h1>Nifty Corners</h1>
              <p>Auiiui uieiouo auuaa oiaue uaou iioiiou uiio a io ieeoai uaouoe uoiaau eeauauou u oiauuie eo ui.</p>
              <h2>Rounded corners without images</h2>
              <p>Aaeao aiieuouiu io ueuiieu uei oeio uooiau uue ooiea ooiaui eue ouue i uiaoo iouieiuia uueeo ieieuiiau

              <p>Iiuiuaea ouea ieuuio o i iuo oiei uoeeou ieoau uaeeiu uouooa uiaiaue ii oo iei eiaiueoo iaoa euiaou uoia
              uuei ua aoauia ieoae eioiaia eu uiueeiui ueuaiuo uaa eie oaeee uau ooieoi uoii oeuioei uouiiuu ioeiuoe eaeuoi.</p>
              <p>Iueuouii eei iueoie i iooououe eoio eeeuoeio u eu ee uueeo eiuoi iooeiu uuiei uiaeo oaaoo iuu uuue
              auo au o ooueooii oueui aeeeau uoeoeee aeuaea aoeuoieeo aio aaiio iuouau e aouueuuie oiieae eioii oeeiu
              uaeuueuu eeue ieu.</p>

              </div>
              </body>
              </html>

              Not to mention that if you get the script working somewhere else, don’t forget to double check the script call & CSS path.
              <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="niftycorners.css">
              <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="niftyPrint.css">
              or
              <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="something/niftycorners.css">
              <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="something/niftyPrint.css">

              and the script call;
              <script type="text/javascript" src="nifty.js"></script>
              or
              <script type="text/javascript" src="something/nifty.js"></script>

              I got the script running perfectly right away! so thanks! grin
