Answered Articles Container Tpl

I have two separate Revo installations, one German and the other English. They both use identical (but separate) Articles templates and the settings are also the same. Yet when visiting the German Articles container page, eg, germansite.de/artikel/ the posts are missing even though they do appear on the individual article page. However, on the English site the Articles container page works perfectly fine.

I checked the relevant Articles settings for each site but I can see no reason why the posts are missing from the German Articles container but not the English. Ideas?

I'd have to say that there must be a difference. Perhaps the wrong parents property. Perhaps difference in published status. Difference in the tpl? Is this a custom template, with your own getResources/getPage snippet, and you forgot about the showHidden property (Articles are set to hide from menus)?

I agree, it does seem that way but I can't find any meaningful differences. I've used a diff tool to compare the templates and I'm about to do a MySQL dump and compare the databases. It's so frustrating.

If the templates are identical, are the resource IDs also the same? That's what I meant by "the wrong &parents property".

I did check that possibility but everything looked good.

I have a basically identical problem, where [[+articles]] doesn't render in the article container's [[*content]] . The [[*content]] renders, but the [[+articles]] placeholder is always empty. If I put [[+archives]] in the container's content, it renders, but of course that's not what I want. I've also tested with a different articles container resource, used the sample templates and chunks, all with the same result: [[+articles]] fails to render; nothing in the error log.

I don't have any different contexts like todd.b. I'm running MODX 2.2.14 and the latest Articles add-on (never had the older 1.6.5 installed). I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling the add-ons to no avail.

If I re-install 2.2.14 over top of my current 2.2.14, will this fix the problem? If so, any idea why?
