Output Modifier for URLs

Good day.

I'm building a web directory of local hotels and it involves listing their websites. Now I want to make the URLs input on a TV to look simple.

Example:

URL on TV: http://www.examplehotel.com/state/city.html

URL to display: www.examplehotel.com (but still points to above URL)


Are there ways to strip the URL after the TLD? I can remove the "http://" part easily with stripString. But I don't (have no idea) how to remove anything after the TLD.
