While poking at the /manager/index.php file, I notices something that puzzles me. Near the end, around line 67, I find this code:
$modx->getRequest();
$modx->getParser();
if (isset($modx) && is_object($modx) && $modx instanceof modX) {
if (!$modx->getRequest()) {
$modx->log(modX::LOG_LEVEL_FATAL,"Could not load the MODX manager request object.");
}
if (!MODX_API_MODE) {
$modx->request->handleRequest();
}
}
Can somebody explain why getRequest is called, then called again after some sanity checks?
