    Take a peek here: http://entertainmentrevue.com/gallery.html?galAlbum=

Gallery seems ~very~ slow, almost like it's not caching the thumbs? Though I can see the thumb images being created in assets/components/gallery/cache

any thoughts as to what is wrong here?

Ya it is pretty slow and you don't have that many gallery items either so that's not the issue.

Did you try using MIGX or anything else? Could it be a server issue?

Thats because its not caching the thumbs!

Make sure in your gallery snippet callout you're not using the '!'

        for example:

        [[Gallery &z=`...`]]

        and not

        [[!Gallery &z=`...`]]

The bang character tells the script NOT to cache the result.

In this scenario, if you're not, take a look at phpthumbof for generating thumbnails that load faster and that also cache rather than requiring to load a full size image to display as a thumbnail.

If we remove the bang then the thumbs get cached along with the page, i.e. it shows the same gallery thumbs for every gallery down the left hand column.

phpthumbof ~is~ installed, and there are options for it in the gallery system settings, though it doesn't seem clear if gallery is actually using phpthumbof.
