    Hello,

We are currently running modx on our pretty high traffic website (400K visits / 2 mil pviews a month)
So right now we have a Web server + DB server which seems to be fine for this kind of a load.

We expect to grow 10 times this year and are concerned about the performance, redundancy and other high load issues.

Did anybody try to load balance MODx site? Or maybe even create site mirrors in different locations to eliminate any possible failure ?

Any information on scalability of modx platform whould be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Aleks

MODx itself won’t be effected by anything like that, as far as I know. You’ll need to focus on PHP and MySQL issues, such as how session data is preserved and served across clustered servers and stuff like that.

I thought MODx is PHP and MYSQL ... but i got your point.
So you saying Modx wont be a bottleneck under a high load.

        Thanks!

This site itself including a very resource intensive forum receives more than 2 mil page views a month. Get lots of ram and fast disk IO and you should be fine.
