Given it's 5 seconds on a local machine that is smiley.

I've got a page here that's displaying information from a cached page, but uncached [!If!] [!LoopDbChunk!] [!eForm!] and other a few other custom snippets. There are about 4 LoopDBChunk snippets in here. So I look at the performance and it gives me these values:

    Query Time: 0.0117 s
    Query Count: 2
    Parse Time: 5.1496 s
    Total Time: 5.1614 s
    Source: cache

My question is, given it takes this long to create the page in my computer - on a Core i5 2410M CPU, and MySQL query caching turned off (cache is on but cache size is set to 0), how slow or how fast do you guys think this is going to be when it goes live on one of those shared hosting webhosts (ex: A2Hosting)? Should I be worried about performance? Any suggestions on how I can speed this up?

My main LoopDBChunk SQL has 9 JOIN statements... I'm wondering if this impacts the performance..

I'm using LoopDBChunk to connect data from an external table since I read up on the size limit of MODX Evo documents maxing out at around 5000 to 10000 resources, so I'm just prepping for the worst case.

Lowered it to 3 seconds by getting rid of some If and LoopDBChunk snippet calls and used JS to get the job done..

There are multiple reasons your page could run slowly, could you tell us more about the page(s) in question and their template/snippet calls. What are these calls doing and what version of MODX is in use?
