Hi,
I'm moving a site from server to localhost to run locally on xampp. I have manager access and all seems fine, the problem is I get a blank screen on the frontend. I also get a blank screen when I try to open resources through the manager. Strangely it only seems to be effecting document resources and articles containers, weblinks open fine as do chunks, snippets etc.
I'm all out of ideas here, I've tried the move a couple of times but each time it's the same problem. The site is running 2.2.8, I'm planning to upgrade when I get this sorted. I've also tried an upgrade install to 2.2.13 but same problem.
Any ideas? this is driving me nuts now, I've sunk a good few hours into it.

Could be a file permissions problem. Windows file permissions can be a little difficult to get set up correctly.
Have you tried deleting all the core/cache files? Running the setup in upgrade mode? Also check the three config.core.php files as well as the config.inc.php file to make sure all of the paths are correct.
If you have friendly URLs on, make sure XAMPP has the rewrite engine enabled. It's off by default. There's an explanation in my book of how to turn it on that I can't recall offhand.
Hi, thanks for the replies, I'd been over your suggestions endlessly, so often I'm tripped up by a typo in config.
I finally tracked this down to MIGX. I changed ownership of the migx files, for some reason these were different to all the other files. Upgraded to 2.2.13, removed and reinstalled MIGX and now all seems to be working. Not sure which part of the process fixed the problem though.
That was a tough one!
