In a latest requirement I have to development module on search and sorting. I am attaching screen shot how the thing will look and function. In lower side of the page a listing will be displaced and if the user sort or filter with any criteria, the list will be modified and show only the filtered result.
I need a guidance to develop this. Please help. Thank you.
If you care about performance, you're probably going to want to create a custom table to hold the information. If each company is a user, you'll want to extend the modUser object. If each company is a resource, you'll want to extend the modResource object.
Once you do that, you'll be able to pull all the information in a single query.
You can use TVs to store the extra information, but searching and sorting will be very cumbersome and significantly slower.
