How to upgrade 2.2.5 to 2.2.13

    For upgrades to 2.2.13 prior to 2.2.6 it is advised to contact support at the Modx forum but I can't find any specific posts for this.

      There shouldn't be any problems. An easy way to upgrade is to use the install.php script - but this only works if your server is configured to allow url_fopen, i.e. streaming a URL as a file.

      Just put the install.php file in your site's root and run it from the browser, domain.com/install.php

      It will download (this is where the url_fopen bit comes into play) and extract the MODX zip file, remove itself, and open the MODX setup in your browser. The most painless updgrades I've ever done!

        This is what I found on it (i.e. updating just a single file rather than the whole of MODX).
