Multiple Websites Using Data from Another Modx Install.

    Hi,

    I have a client who has a website (let's call is Web1) built with Modx, they now want another website (Web2) and on Web2 they want to display some of the content which is on Web1, pulling it directly from Web1's database so they do not have to manage the data in 2 places. Is this doable and if so what is the best way to go about it?

      Which version of MODX? With Revolution, you can handle multiple domains with a single core and Manager using contexts.

        Hmm... not sure about that. The site was built by a previous developer and I have not been given any access to it yet. I
        have just been asked to quote for the new one. I'll see what info I can get.

          I have been informed that the current website is built using version 2.2.10, this is Revolution, isn't it?
