    Hey all,

This is on a fresh install of 2.2.13. After I enter my username and password into the manager login form and hit the login button, the login page just reloads. I must paste something like /manager/index.php?a=10&id=4 into the browser to be able to do anything.

I have tried clearing both browser and ModX cache, but no joy.

Would anyone know of a fix for this?

    Many thanks

I assume you are not getting any login errors (password or username) right?

I've had a couple of installs where the manager compresses js and css files and prevented anything from working (or displaying properly) inside the manager. It would only show the top menu. most items would not be clickable. I don;t know if that may be your problem too.

      I went directly into db and changed the modx_system_settings compress_js & compress_css to 0 (instead of 1).

Then deleted the core/cache directory completely.

Refreshed page and all was good.

Thanks - yes, no login errors. The page just reloads.

I have experienced the error you mentioned before but I am not experiancing it this time. Once I paste in the rest of a manager url, the system works fine.

I would manually delete the files in core/cache and if that doesn't work also try to disable compression of JS/CSS as mentioned above.

          This is an interesting method.

Though it may be none of the above at all of course.

which browser are you using? I had different behaviour with chrome and firefox. You can enable HTML5 caching in Firefox, which could affect this.

you could try re-uploading all the files in manager too... you should be able to just re-upload them all without needing to modify anything.
