Hi, I'm trying to create something where a visitor on the website inputs his zip code, and when he submits it returns specific names that correlate to the zip code. I'm assuming this would require a simple database.
I am almost fluent in HTML/CSS, but not in any other web development coding language - however I could attempt to teach myself.
Could anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Yes, that will require some kind of a one-to-many lookup table, either from the database or with files. This could be done with MIGx, depending on how many of these you'll have either plain MIGx (uses the regular Template Variables tables) or MIGXdb (using custom tables).
I would use MIGXdb for this, and because I'm lazy instead of creating a custom Manager page (CMP) for managing the lists I'd just use a resource with a MIGXdb TV. The resource would be unpublished, since nobody will ever see it except the Manager.
The MIGX grid would have zip codes, and each row would open to have an inner grid with its rows of names.

You might want to run through a basic tutorial to see how MIGXdb works

Since you would be using a nested MIGx (outer one for the lists of zip codes, inner one lists of items for each zip code)
