My domain.com/setup does not load to install MODX

I've installed MODX on a regular CPanel before, but this is my first time installing it on GoDaddy Hosting. I uploaded the zip file then extracted it in the root, but when I go to mydomain.com/setup it gives me this:

FATAL ERROR: MODX Setup cannot continue.

Make sure your /home/content/28/12116628/html/zouply/core/cache directory exists and is writable by the PHP process.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to set any particular permissions to files or folders? If so which ones? Any help is appreciated.

Also, the MODX site says to check to make sure core/config and core/cache are writable by PHP. How do I check this?

GoDaddy hosting often does not play well with Revolution.

Your CPanel file manager should show the permissions; these directories should probably have 755 permissions, and files 644 permission. It may require 777 and 666, though.

It's possible to get MODX Revolution working on GoDaddy, but you may pull all of your hair out before finishing. As Susan noted the two do not play well together, as Revo tried to access more resources than permitted at times.

That being said the permissions are a little different with GoDaddy, and you generally need 666/777 (files/folders) for server writable items such as the cache directory.
