Hi all,
Trying to get phpThumb 0.3 working to dynamically resize certain images in a page. I presumed I needed to do the following:-
1. Download and install PHx
2. Download and Install phpThumb and configure.
3. Modify the page template and include a placeholder.
I have done all the above but I cannot get this to work. I am not totally sure I understand placeholders but I have added a placeholder as per the example into the page template. I didn’t include a template variable at this stage as I just wanted to see if I could get it working but all I end up with is a blank image tag <img src="" \\>
I have followed all the instructions to the letter but to no avail. I hope I am going about this the right way, I simply want to allow users to upload images without having to worry about resizing or entering values. I presumed I needed a template variable of type image to allow users to browse and select the file from the resources. Then, I thought if I included the TV in the placeholder I would end up with only the images I wanted resized as opposed to everything.
Reason I am unsure about the placeholders is I do not understand where it gets the image name from in the call?? No image seems to be passed to the phpThumb script.
Anyway this is the call I am using

<img src="[+myimage:phpthumb=`w=30&h=30#[(base_path)]assets/images/logo.png#1`+]" alt="my image" />
Can anyone help me to get this working please - I am desperate.
Regards,
