Thanks for this link. It certainly looks promising, I've give this a try when I have time to test on my own practice site.

I can sort of see how MIGx will solve my issue. Reading now to determine how to limit the number of items. If I have a single image area, I don't want the user to be prompted with the ability to add more than one item. Maybe I just write that in the description for that MIGx TV "Only Enter One Image!"

I'll research this. I'm currently trying to solve this for one instance of an image in the page. But also have a situation where I have an optional promo row. It's 3 columns, each with Image a caption and each need to link to other resources. For now I can just hard code those in a chunk and call it a day until I can get a better handle on MIGx
