I am brand new to ModX (like, as of today), it's looking really good so far, and I'm thinking it might be the solution to my next project - if I can work this out. I'm used to a few other CMS's and have been doing this kind of stuff for a while, really like the design flexibility in ModX. Here's hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I'm building a small site that will have a few "members" (under 20). They want to be able to log in and then have some information available only after logging in. No problem, I can work that out, just went through a tutorial on that. In these private pages they want to have an application form to submit, no problem there either.
However, I want to be able to display the "status" of each form they submit that would be updated by the site admin. This could be as simple as private messages; it would be nicer to display the status in a table format on a page that is particular to that user only, like say a profile page. Basically I need a way to show messages to each individual user when they log in.
Is there an add-on or a way to accomplish this without writing it from scratch? I may have missed it if it's documented somewhere, there's a ton of info in this forum and on the ModX site... If anyone can point me to a starting point, I'd appreciate it!

You're welcome. I completely forgot having written that.
