Hi guys,
I am trying to upgrade a site locally and running into an error message.
I have basically taken the advanced install, and am trying to upgrade.
I get all the way to /setup/index.php?action=summary
However I get an error:
Checking if /www/mysite/ directory is writable: OK!
Checking if /www/mysite/ directory is writable: Failed!
IS this a bug in the installer?
I have set 0777 recursively on /www/mysite/
To bypass the above I hit this url: /www/mysite/setup/index.php?action=install
It chugs along for a bit then comes back with an error:
Fatal error: include_once(): Cannot redeclare class xpdocachemanager in /path/to/file
Not sure where to go from here, any help much appreciated!!!!!

Got a little further.
The installation appears to have worked.
The issue I have now is that the MODx Browser is blank.
No files show up, however I can browser folders?
Was there some changes between version that might effect this?
It was a false alarm.
mb_string was not enabled on my local env, so once I moved the code to a different machine the browser is working again.
