Well, if you use the user ID for the createdby field when creating the resource, you could use a snippet to load the resource that was created by the current user, and only load it if the current user is the createdby user.

Thanks, sounds interesting, simple and clever solution!
May be I could also create a plugin with event OnUserActivate that automatically creates a new resource with the createdby = new user id.
I'm only worried about security, do you think it should be a safe solution?
You could also use the user's username or ID in the pagetitle, alias, and/or some other resource field. Creating a User setting for each User with the page's ID would be another option.
There is also this:

I find it's easier to accomplish something like this through the front end using Bobrays newspublisher the only real issue you might run into is accessing stuff like migxtvs or any other crazy stuff or extras that don't play nice with newspublisher.
Doing something like this in the manager will definitely be a PITA IMHO.

This sounds like a good plan.
You could also create a TV 'user_id'
Lastly, we created a CMP, where logged in users could only access and edit their own resource's with MIGXdb.
They had only access to that CMP.

I had a setup where on registration a user got his own user group, his own resource with its own resource group to match his user group, and his own folder for uploaded images, all done with a plugin and an interesting snippet (part of the MIGX package) to use as the path for the Media Source to provide a dynamic Media Source.
I'll attach the setup for Admin-created users. It's much the same as the automated Registration system.
