According to the documentation for the UpdateProfile snippet, error.message should return a value if there are problems with the form. I do see individual error messages for each form input if there are problems, but I don't see an error message at the top of the whole form. The error.message placeholder doesn't seem to be populated with anything.

In contrast, the +cp.error_message placeholder in the ChangePassword snippet works fine.

Does the +error.message placeholder in updateProfile work? [ed. note: paulbohman last edited this post 12 years, 6 months ago.]

It should. You might try it uncached.

The page was uncached. The snippet was uncached. Still didn't work.
