2.2.13 - You have invalid Characters in TV Name

Some extras create their own tables and I've had them end up with a different character set than the one MODX uses.

I did not install third party extras. It was just modx, nothing else.

Have you checked to see if any fields or tables don't match the character set in config.inc.php?

Hello,

in core/model/modx/mysql/modtemplatevar.map.inc.php

in the row 305
try to change

'rule' => '/^(?!\\s)[a-zA-Z0-9\\x2d-\\x2f\\x7f-\\xff_-\\s]+(?!\\s)$/',

to

'rule' => '/^(?!\\s)[a-zA-Z0-9\\x2d-\\x2f\\x7f-\\xff-_\\s]+(?!\\s)$/',

Somehow my solution did not get posted. I was upgrading my local server and with that also the php version upgraded to version 5.5.10. After downgrading to php version 5.4.x everything was working again fine. So it seems to be an issue with PHP version.

It worked for me, it was the MAMP php ver 5.5.10 was causing the issue,
I have choosen the PHP ver. 5.1.6 now it's working again
