shell_exec warning phpthumbof

    Hi,
    My gallery is functioning reasonably well but I'm getting the following error logged:

    [2014-03-14 10:46:14] (ERROR @ /path/public_html/core/model/phpthumb/phpthumb.functions.php : 474) PHP warning: shell_exec() [<a href='function.shell-exec'>function.shell-exec</a>]: Unable to execute 'which convert 2>&1'


    The Gallery also occasionally throws up an internal server error.

    Any ideas much appreciated

      Do you know if ImageMagick and imagick are installed on the server? I can't say that I have encountered that issue, but it would appear to be trying to access/use the earlier for image processing.

      I would also recommend removing phpthumbof and replacing it with pThumb which should work better. If I recall correctly phpthumbof is sunset or will be sunset after the next release, with recommendations to use pThumb or phpThumbsUp instead.

        Yeah I think ImageMagick is missing, I'm contacting the hosts now.
        Thanks for the info on pThumb, I wasn't aware of this.
