Webuser and WebLogin Snippet - Unable to Login

Hey guys,

Anyone tried the WebLogin snippet and tried logging in using a webuser account?

After updating to 1.0.13, one of my installs is giving me this "Logging error: Internal Key Not Set" right after logging in. And after this, trying to refresh the page gives an "error" message and that's it, effectively rendering the site broken.

I did a fresh install of 1.0.13 and tried creating a webuser account and using the WebLogin snippet - still the same.

I didn't encounter this in 1.0.12, so critical if you're relying on the MODX login. [ed. note: diatomin last edited this post 11 years, 2 months ago.]

Any solution to it, or just downgrade to the earlier snippet?

I chose to downgrade to 1.0.12 for now. But if someone can confirm downgrading just the snippet works fine..

Fixed here: https://github.com/modxcms/evolution/commit/c5cfa3e5d663df330816e59b02f3633378754efd as you could see in https://github.com/modxcms/evolution/issues/212 . So just update weblogin.processor.inc.php with the one of the commit. [ed. note: Jako last edited this post 11 years, 2 months ago.]

Is it the "Logging Error" that causes the "Source" to be empty in System Events? I am trying to determine if I have two separate issues, or if that IS the issue.

Also note there is an issue with line 13 of weblogin.processor.inc.php in Evo 1.0.13. It should state:

$ds = $modx->db->select('wu.*', $modx->getFullTableName('web_users') ." AS wu", "wu.id='".$modx->db->escape($id)."'");

In case this hasn't been fixed yet, I found out there's a problem when signing up for a new user:

« MODX Parse Error »
MODX encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - Unknown column 'internalKey' in 'field list' »
SQL > INSERT INTO `site`.`modx_web_users` (`internalKey`, `fullname`, `email`, `zip`, `state`, `country`) VALUES('7', 'Jane Doe', '[email protected]', 'Zip here', 'State here', '1')

EDIT: It seems the problem is that in line 119, the part where it's supposed to save to the web_user_attributes table - is referring to web_user instead. [ed. note: diatomin last edited this post 11 years, 1 month ago.]

Had the same problem but took the file from 1.0.12, because it was so messy read this :/
I come from phpBB world where we write Find in line XX and Replace with this YYYY... much easier to understand.
